Daryll Clark hangin out at the Elite 11
For the next three days Daryll Clark will be helping over 1,000 High School Quarterbacks improve their game at the Nike Elite 11 camp. Elite 11 evaluates more than 1,000 quarterbacks annually from ESPN RISE’s Nike camp and EA Sports Elite 11 regional camps to determine which are the nation’s most outstanding high school quarterbacks. The closed-door event now will be open to via a web site, a series of webisodes and a one-hour telecast finale on ESPNU. The Elite 11 quarterbacks will compete against each other. Colt McCoy (Texas), Daryll Clark (Penn State), Juice Williams (Illinois), Cody Hawkins (Colorado), Zac Robinson (Oklahoma State) and leading college counselors will be on hand to give them feedback. Note: Penn State recruit Paul Jones of Pittsburgh (Pa.) Sto-Rox High School was selected to the 2009 Elite 11 but cannot attend due to an ankle injury suffered in early July.
According to Clarks twitter account: CaptainClark17:At breakfast wit all of the conselors here…all the college qbs are real cool..no egos!!!
Not sure what that means, but I guess we can assume that Juice says “please” and “thank you”….and Tim Tebow was invited but couldn’t make it on account of the fact he was stuck at the drill when you took a snap under center. (Taken 869 snaps in the shotgun formation, only 17 from under center)
