Dear Alex Kenney, come to Penn State

Rivals is reporting that recruit Alex Kenney is trimming his list down, this is my pitch for why Penn State wants him..

As a State High alum, I’ve had lots of reasons to make the walk across town on a friday night and watch the Little Lions play at Memorial Field. The team recently has had lots of sucess and has been ranked in the top ten in the state and 300 in the country. Although the ranking and only one State Championship (1973) are not always something to brag about, State High has given the college football and NFL worlds plenty of good players. Here are few worth mentioning from the most recent years.Jordan Norwood,Larry Johnson,Tony Johnson, Nate Stupar.

Recently Alex Kenny has emerged as one of the top playmakers in the state. I’ve seen him play in person and I can tell you he is one of the most talented high school players I’ve seen. He reminds me very very much like D-Will with his speed and cutting ability. But I’ll let the film speak for itself. This first video is from this past season, click here for tape from his Sophmore year. Any other videos out there you have to pay for to see, so I’ll let you do that on your own time.

I think Penn State could use him, sources say that he doesn’t want to come here because he father teaches at Penn State and its too close to home, but if he comes here he could be a great asset to the program.
