Taran Buie goes to Lebron James Skills camp
Nike’s Elite Youth division is dedicated to providing a platform for the finest ballers in the nation and making a positive impact on cream of the crop high school players who strive to be the best.
Thats the mission statement of the Nike Elite Skills Camp; and this week Penn State’s, or some of you might say, State High’s, highly touted recruit Taran Buie is out in Ohio taking part in.
Taran also recently took part in Deron Williams high school Nike Camp and now joins 80 of the top High School players invited to take part in Nike’s camp, this weeks session is the Lebron Skills Academy. One can only imagine what Taran is learning out there at the hands of Lebron. Since the Nike Elite Skills Camp is run every summer, they keep track of those players who have come through the doors and learned from the best. Here are just a few of the Alum:
I think its safe to say that regardless of who you root for, you would want nothing more than to see Buie turn into any of those players on that list. Hopefuly he’ll learn a lot. I can’t imagine why he wouldn’t. If he does do well enough this is what he has in store…
The LeBron James Skills Academy features the top 80 high school players in the country, hosted by “King” James – one of the greatest players in the NBA. The 20 high school players who attended each of the previous four Nike Skills Academies will be invited to Akron to improve their game and play against the top competition in the United States. The top 30 players from the LeBron Academy will then be invited to the Nike Global Challenge in Beaverton, OR to play against some of the elite international talent from around the world.
Lets hope for the best
